Winter recipe for a GINGERBREAD LATTE

 

Its now november time, and the cold winter months are approaching.

A nice idea for a coffee drink to keep warm is the festive Gingerbread Latte that is very popular over the winter and Christmas period.

Here is a simple recipe on how to make one at home.

ingredients :

2 tsp of ground ginger

half a tsp of cinnamon

quarter of a tsp of ground Nutmeg

2 tablespoons of brown sugar

half a tsp of vanilla extract

600ml of whole milk

2 espresso shots of Tramoni coffee

whipped cream

 

Method :

step 1

Take a large pan and mix the vanilla, spices and brown sugar.

heat 100ml of warm milk and add to the bowl, and mix everything.

Then gently pour in the rest of the (room temperature) 500ml of milk

Then gently warm the mixture til it is beginning to simmer. then turn off heat.

 

Step 2

Take 2 Latte cups, and put a shot of Tramoni coffee in each of them.

After, pour and fill the latte cups with the Gingerbread mixture

Then add some whipped cream on top and add a little powdered cinnamon on top.

 

Step 3

Sit back and and enjoy a delicious Gingerbread Latte at home
